Rule Review Plan

The Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Board (TALCB) in accordance with the Texas Government Code, 2001.039, submits the following plan for review of its rules (22 Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Chapters 153, 155 and 157)

October 20, 2006, propose review of 22 TAC Chapter 153, concerning Rules Relating to Provisions of the Texas Appraiser Licensing and Certification Act.

February 9, 2007, Board meeting, Consider comments of 22 TAC Chapter 153 and propose review of 22 TAC Chapter 155, concerning Rules Relating to Standards of Practice and 22 TAC Chapter 157, concerning Rules Relating to Practice and Procedure.

May 2007, Conclude review of 22 TAC Chapter 153. Consider comments on 22 TAC Chapter 155 and Chapter 157.

August 2007, conclude review of 22 TAC Chapter 155 and Chapter 157

The comment period will last for 30 days beginning with the publication of notice of intention to review. Comments or questions regarding the notice of intention to review may be submitted in writing within 30 days following the publication of notice. Readopted rules will be noted in the Texas Register's "Review of Agency Rules" section without publication of the text. Any proposed amendments or repeal of a rule or chapter as a result of the review will be published in the "Proposed Rules" section of the Texas Register and will be open for an additional 30-day public comment period prior to final adoption or repeal.
